DAFES AWARDS is an international award that celebrates design, art, fashion, education, and creative entrepreneurship. Run by the DAFES competition platform in partnership with the HSE Art and Design School, the award is presented twice a year and brings together the best creative projects and top industry professionals on one stage.
The DAFES Council features leading university faculty, accomplished practitioners, and influential voices from the international creative community.

On November 21, 2025, the autumn DAFES AWARDS ceremony will take place at the legendary Khudozhestvenny Cinema.
Opened in 1909, the Khudozhestvenny Cinema is a symbol of innovation in Russian cinema: it hosted major premieres, was the first to screen sound and color films, and its technical equipment always met the most advanced standards of its time. This historic venue provides the perfect setting for the DAFES AWARDS. Guests can look forward to impressive entries from the participants, a performance by the jazz group Qascad, an exclusive screening of the film The Artist, and casual networking.
