

Lavdanskyworkshop is a project of Grigory and Semyon Lavdansky, formed on the ideological and industrial basis of the ‘Basmart’ family workshop which was founded in 1990s working with church decorative art and interiors.
Since 2018, Lavdanskyworkshop has been combining work with collectible design and traditional crafts, contemporary forms and ancient technologies. The works of the studio’s artists convey the perception of the sacred, inherent in the atmosphere of ancient temple art.
The studio works with wood, metals, and experimental materials, primarily focusing on fine metalworking techniques such as engraving, embossing, casting, and forging.
