The exhibition features dozens of samples of typical old furniture from the museum collection, transformed into art objects by modern Russian painter Dmitry Flowerkov. The exhibition is a discussion of what can be used to store the wardrobes and chests of Moscow. The project focuses on an analysis of Moscow’s legacy — not only material but also mental. The artist is known on the domestic and international stage as an author who has long and fruitfully developed the subject of fine crafts.
