A series of illustrations based on the brief of the children’s publishing house for the fairy tale «Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves». My main idea was to tell a story using landscapes, still lifes and the flavor of an oriental country with minimal use of characters. Their character is conveyed through the details of the environment: interior and landscape. Silence, semi-emptiness are the main feelings from the illustrations.
