The optical phenomenon of Galo, the glowing ring around the light source, was a model of a series of lamps with the same name. The Light from the Inside is part of a series of lamps, hand-made, with elements of traditional ornaments. It changed the philosophy of the lamp. It has ceased to be a cold display of the natural phenomenon. The lamp has acquired «invisible light» that emits things made with love with the soul. The base of the lamp is black-corn ceramics. It is a craftsmanship, as is embroidery on a reflector. The speciality of crafts is that a person, by creating them, puts a part of his soul, his inner light, through his hands. The objects the masters of the centuries have done with their hands keep in them the heat of human hands, the light of the master’s soul. And this lamp, using craftsmanship, carries a part of the heat and light of the ancient masters who created it, it connects past traditions and real technological advances into it, making them closer, warmer and more comfortable for the human being. In the lamphouse, handmade light is not only ordinary, tangible, but also invisible, the light of the human soul. Year 2018.
