Misfits is a series of feature photographs dedicated to fruit and vegetables in a non-standard form. The project is inspired by a startup that works with «non-vulnerable» products — fruits with damage, deformations, or unusual shapes that remain fully usable.
In the filming, «unideal» and usually beautiful fruits and vegetables exist on an equal footing, without hierarchy. Through light, composition and major plans, the project rethinks the visual stereotypes and fears associated with external imperfections and proposes to see its value, character and identity.
