Concept
Artist-mistagog, freak, author of performances — German Vinogradov. It is his creation «BIKAPO» that is in the museum of modern art «GARAGE». The image reveals the idea of the project: the creator, being in a domestic environment, is able to draw inspiration from the surrounding reality and create non-standard, performative works of art. Dedicated to Vinogradov’s personality, his life and work.

The museum was founded in 2008 by Daria Zhukova and
Roman Abramovich as the Center for Contemporary Culture «Garage».
Since 2015, the museum has been located in the building of the former restaurant «Seasons» (1968), reconstructed according to the architect’s project
Rema Kolkhas and the OMA Bureau (Netherlands).
The museum holds exhibitions of Russian and foreign contemporary artists, educational programs for adults and children of different ages, film screenings, concerts, performances.
