Hi! My name is Katya
I bring sound, narratives, and brand worlds to life through motion — whether it’s concert visuals, explainers, or promo graphics.I build projects from initial concept to final render, ready to help teams and creators turn bold ideas into clear, engaging motion.
Music & Stage Visuals
01. Cassandra (visualizer)

Challenge
A music visualizer concept for the track «Cassandra» by Florence + the Machine. The task was to translate the aesthetics and visual codes of a distinct musical phenomenon into a comprehensive motion design project.

Written during the pandemic, the song explores the isolation of lockdown and the loss of performance space — reflecting a silenced «prophetic voice,» directly referencing the myth of Cassandra. The narrative is driven by the tension between rigid control (daily domestic routine) and the urge for freedom (raw creative energy, untamed nature, and physical release).

Execution & Tools
A hybrid workflow combining AI generation and mixed-media post-production. Neural networks provided foundational footage, camera movements, and scene compositions. These assets were then treated in digital post-processing with material textures.
02. OBLAKA (stage backdrop)
Challenge
A stage backdrop designed for the track «Oblaka» from the album «Ministry of Death» by Offizier Rinzer. The project is an experimental music endeavor exploring intimate themes of mortality, love, and power through dramatic power electronics and a self-defined «romantic spoken noise» aesthetic. The goal was to translate this raw sonic tension into an intense, immersive live visual environment. Created as a collaboration, where I handled footage preparation, TouchDesigner processing, generative setups, and merchandise design.

Execution & Tools
To reflect the visceral nature of the performance, the visual system was built around real-time audio-reactive generation in TouchDesigner. Sound frequencies and spoken-word dynamics directly drive the visual distortion, noise textures, and motion parameters on stage, blurring the line between physical performance and generative digital media.
Commercial & Cultural
03. ARIRANG (explainer video)
Challenge
A short explainer video exploring Arirang, a fundamental cultural concept that weaves through Korean history — from ancient folklore and regional traditions to modern cinema and the contemporary pop scene. The goal was to articulate this layered cultural heritage through a fast-paced, educational motion format. The motion language draws directly from the geometry of Hangul — utilizing disciplined straight lines, deliberate gaps, and structural breaks to guide transitions and composition.
