My poster series is dedicated to the Hungarian film «White Palms.» I use the horizon line as my primary device, dividing the composition into two halves and helping to convey the protagonist’s state of choice. He tries to break away from the harsh methods of his former coach, but subconsciously begins to repeat his behavior. The mirroring effect intensifies this internal conflict: the protagonist seems to see a possible repetition of the past before him and tries to choose a different path.
